Indy
Rescued in 2009 from Independence village in Southern Belize as a calf, Indy was formerly kept as an illegal pet. He was hand-raised at The Belize Zoo and is now an ambassador for his species ; welcoming you at the entrance of the Zoo’s “Tapir town.”
